The company Gerhard+Rauh was established in Regensburg in 1938 as a small to medium-sized business enterprise for the production of individual parts and subassemblies for the German "Reichsbahn" (state railway). After the company's move to its present seat in Regenstauf in 1963, three business segments have been built up: Production ? Radiator construction ? Plant construction and process development for protein recycling and environmental technology ? Machine and tank construction, mechanical manufacture Radiators Radiators have been manufactured since 1962 in an expanded production. The main product from the range of our flat radiators is the type ESSEN. The basic construction of this type was developed by Mr. Otto Gerhard and is still being produced today with some constructive modifications. Although copied by some firms, its technical parameters and its visual perfection have not been attained by them. As a narrow, flat radiator in robust design and with an elegant front, it provides - without convection sheet steel - the highest thermal output of all comparable products available in the market.
